The Travelled Road When a life well lived with honesty Has travelled its allotted span It has earned a peaceful sanctuary According to gods own plan And so a worthy a soul moves on Free of pain and sorrow Every earthly task is done With courage towards tomorrow With duty done to god and man Walking lifes many miles, Lived in truth, as courage can, With kindly thoughts and smiles, When such a soul has earned its place With Kindness, love and sharing It finds the everlasting peace That heaven has been preparing
